Children's Privacy Notice

Effective 2026-09-14

Tenebrite is not directed at children under 13 and is not designed for use by them.

1. Scope

This Notice supplements the Privacy Policy and describes our position regarding personal data of children under 13 (or the higher age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).

2. Age Threshold

The Service requires an account holder to be at least 18 years old, because a subscription is a contract and we require the account holder to have the capacity to enter one. Separately, and regardless of that threshold, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in the United States, or under the equivalent age of digital consent elsewhere (which may be 14 or 16 in certain jurisdictions, including EEA member states).

3. If a Child Has Created an Account

If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us at privacy@tenebrite.com. We will:

  • Verify the request.
  • Promptly delete the account and the personal information associated with it.
  • Confirm completion of deletion in writing where requested.

4. COPPA Rights of U.S. Parents

Under COPPA, parents have the right to review the personal information we may have collected from a child under 13, to direct us to delete it, and to refuse further collection. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@tenebrite.com with the child’s account email and proof of your relationship to the child.

5. Schools and EdTech

We do not currently market or license the Service for K-12 or primary-school use. If we offer school-licensed access in the future, this Notice will be updated to address the role of schools, written parental consent, and applicable state student- privacy laws.

6. Updates

We will revise this Notice as our practices or applicable law change.
