Use of the Service does not create any professional relationship between you and Tenebrite. In particular, the Service is not a provider of and does not offer:

• Safety-critical guidance for use in regulated industries (aviation, life-safety systems, nuclear, etc.).

3. AI-Generated Content

Tenebrite uses large language models (LLMs) to generate study material and answer questions. LLMs are probabilistic systems that can produce text which is:

• Factually incorrect.
• Outdated, especially regarding recent events or fast-moving fields.
• Misleadingly confident.
• Biased in ways that reflect their training data, including stereotyping or under-representation of perspectives.

You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy and suitability of AI output before relying on it or distributing it. Where you incorporate AI output into your own work, ensure you comply with any applicable disclosure obligations imposed by your institution, employer, publisher, or licensing body.

4. Quiz and Mastery Indicators

Quiz scores, mastery percentages, streaks, and similar indicators in the Service are intended as self-directed learning signals. They are not academic credentials, certifications, or substitutes for an accredited assessment.

5. External Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or content (including embedded media in focus sessions). Tenebrite does not control and is not responsible for the accuracy, safety, or availability of third-party material.

7. Crisis and Safety Resources

If you are experiencing a medical, psychological, or safety emergency, do not use the Service. Contact your local emergency number or a qualified crisis service immediately. In the United States, you can dial 911 for emergencies and 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

What the tutor does. The tutor is an AI, not a person, and it is not a crisis service. It is instructed that if something a learner writes sounds like a crisis, or like immediate danger to them or to anyone else, it stops the lesson, says plainly that it is not the right help, and points to real help: in the United States, calling or texting 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or calling 911 if anyone is in immediate danger; anywhere else, the local emergency number or crisis line. It does this even when a crisis comes out gradually over several messages or inside a study question, and it does not answer the study question first. We check this behaviour with written test cases, including messages in Spanish and situations such as an overdose, a medical emergency and abuse. An AI can still miss or misread the signs, and it cannot answer at all when your monthly AI allowance has run out or the service is unavailable, so please do not rely on it in an emergency. The 988 and 911 numbers are always shown under the tutor’s message box, and on the screen you see when the allowance has run out, so they are there even when the tutor is not.

8. No Warranties

Consistent with Section 14 of the Terms of Service, the Service and all content are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.
